full disclosure: i did get paid to do an ad for this pump and the company. however, it is still so important to me to give you all aspects of this pump and to help you choose what will support your body and lifestyle best!!! *please also note that i was supposed to get the S1 Pro, but this review is for the S1 (as the S1 Pro was out of stock. the only difference between the two is the Pro includes the portable charging port).

i’m not truly the biggest fan of wearable pumps, honestly. because the expectation is that they are going to be able to support your full milk supply, 100% of the time, when this simply isn’t typical. wearable pumps aren’t strong enough to remove your full milk supply — this is just how this style of pump functions!

PROS

what i truly LOVE about this wearable pump —

• this is a high quality wearable pump! i can feel it when holding it in my hand, and i’ve tried a LOT of wearables. sometimes the plastic is just not put together well — this on the other hand is an intentionally created pump
• the warming option — yes, you read that right! this pump has a warming HeatFlow feature while the pump is on. this is amazing for personal comfort and to help the flow of milk for potentially more expressed milk! now with clogged ducts the newly updated protocol is to use ice to help take down the inflammation for a clog (how to manage and prevent clogged ducts and the most up to date guidelines — get the FREE clogged duct mini course here) — however each individual person is different, and what works well for you.
• comes with an app to adjust your settings — no more undressing down to your dang bra in the middle of winter when you’re out looking at Christmas lights with the fam to adjust your pump settings! it’s all in the app, and makes it SO easy to use. not only is each side individualized, you can adjust the heat setting, put a timer on your pump at 20, 25 or 30 minutes, if you’re on stimulation or expression mode inside the app. i’ve never used something like this that makes pumping so approachable, especially when on the go, or needs to be discrete!
• quiet in suction and operation — this is not nearly the loudest wearable pump i’ve tried, it is quite quiet when using! of course, it may be heard when sitting next to someone, but it is really adequate in using discretely if needed.
• strong suction options — i personally LOVE a good strong suction (hello BabyBuddha) and i actually had to turn this suction down on this pump! it’s honestly got a great strength and variety for a wearable pump. now also, take into consideration that my own body is very sensitive at the moment (hi hi baby in my belly), but if you like a large range of strength in your pump selection — this really does check the box!

now i did want to give you my 100% on this review, and right now (as of 11/19/24), i am not producing any milk due to pregnancy. this second baby weaned me very quickly! which is why i called in reinforcements — my friend and fellow breastfeeding specialist Sammi! she’s also an overproducer, and this is really important to address how this pump responds to you oversuppliers! you can find her on instagram @sammigropper, she’s an amazing resource for both nursing and pumping, and prenatal education.

what she had to say when i sent her this pump to try out, it blew all expectations i had out the window. in the few times she used it, her milk output was very similar, if not exact to what she normally sees with her traditional flanges and primary pump! normally we don’t see this with wearable pumps (as discussed earlier) due to in general how this style of pump functions.

CONS

things to consider that are negative about the Eufy S1 pump —

• as with a lot of wearable pumps, it is hard to see inside the flange and see what your nipple is doing, or if there is any more milk being expressed. this is why wearing the correct flange size is so important in your pumping experience — need help with this? be sure to snag my free nipple ruler guide!
• comes with a few flange inserts, but only as small as 17mm. if you are a small nipple girlie (hi, it’s me), you’ll want to be sure you have some nipple inserts on hand for your individual size. need a list of all the flanges/insert sizes convenient when you need them? here’s my Amazon (affiliate link) list all ready for you!!! please let me know if you need something that is not on my list, i am so happy and ready to update it so it is helpful for you.
• even though i am loving a lot of the features of this pump and the real capabilities that it offers in a quality wearable pump, we still need to consider this a secondary pump. the long term use can impact your supply, especially if you are an undersupplier, or just-enougher.

this pump has a lot of truly innovative features that can take pumping, especially if you are exclusively pumping, to a more approachable place. pumping as a whole is overwhelming — with all the parts to wash, equipment to try and see if it works best for your individual body, schedule and timing (especially when you have to take it outside of the comfort of your own home). this pump has a lot of potential to make this pumping process easier on you as a pumping parent. which is our goal in the long run!!!

***UPDATE 3/10/25 (AFTER BIRTH)***

baby boy was born about 2 weeks ago, and i’ve finally had a chance to break out this pump and put it to my own test now that i am lactating again! and my final rating still stands — in fact, i think i’m even more impressed with this pump as a wearable than i was a few months ago.

• the suction is impressive for a wearable pump — i typically like a stronger suction, but did stay around vacuum level 2-3 (my son Corran is working through a tongue and lip tie, which is resulting in some increased sensitivity for me right now)
  • this suction has a deeper feel, as compared to the Momcozy M5 which feels more “surface level” in a sense? plus the warming component feels like your boobies are submerged in a warm bath. i looove the warming feature!!!
• the app is incredibly convenient — especially if you are trying to pump discreetly, everything can be adjusted on your phone, and individually left and right! this is wonderful if you are not a fan of digging inside your bra in the middle of a work meeting. BUT please note that your phone will need to have access to Bluetooth to connect to the pump and its settings.
• volume expressed — typically with my oversupply, i will pump 7-9 ounces depending on the time of day, and how much my son nurses. the first time i pumped with the Eufy, it really did blow me away in the amount it was able to express from this style of pump — 7 oz for my midday pump!!!

i don’t love any wearable pumps, truly. the expectation vs the performance of these types of pumps usually do not align, which is where the problem lies. and this is where we get supply issues for most parents. HOWEVER — this pump really does function very well as a wearable and convenient option. i stand by my initial assessment now that i have some lactation proof to back that up.
